101 Octane gudgeon pin circlips Often overlooked, it`s a good idea to pay attention to your choice of gudgeon pin Even if the C-type clip is a little more fiddly than the G-type, tuners and tuning enthusiasts alike should be looking to the C-type clip If G-type clips are used too often they can break off at the "stub" thereby causing huge engine damage Often times it`s vibration that causes G-style clips to break up or there is play in the gudgeon pin that forces the mounting stub to shear The C-type can neither be loosened by the movement of the gudgeon pin, nor can it break 2x C-style clips included Ensure the circlip groove is completely clean prior to installation and that the clip sits securely in the groove We recommend installing the opening of the clip counter to the piston rotation
